ABSTRACT
The article offers an overview of the Research Into Practice report by the CIPD, entitled "Managing Diversity and the Glass Cliff," which focuses on how diversity can add value to business performance. The report highlights the challenges employers have to address and makes recommendations to help create an agenda for progress. Human resource professionals are urged to look beyond the numbers and examine the types of positions being held by people from minority groups.
