People Management;9/6/2007, Vol. 13 Issue 18, p12
This article reports on a new code of conduct that will be imposed on companies that sell gap-year package deals to students in Great Britain. The code will prevent students paying money to take part in dubious charity work and force firms that sell such trips to disclose how fees are spent. Gap years, which have been taken up by both Prince William and his brother Harry, attract about 200,000 people a year.
