This article stresses the need for the Great Britain's Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to harness the energy and sparkle of staff in defining the direction of the new department. This insight came from Beverly Shears, its group human resources director. According to Shears, she hoped the process would empower employees to have a say in reforms. She said that the recent work of the HR to revamp the recruitment process showed what could be achieved through this philosophy of engaging staff.
