ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the impact of the iPhone on the network of AT&T in the U.S. According to the author, the wireless unit of the carrier has changed its network focus from expanding the network to optimizing the customer experience. He finds that 12,000 cell sites were eliminated due to overlapping coverage from networks. In addition, the author states the assurance made by the carrier to address the problems.
