ABSTRACT
The article reports on the career development of John Ford, former Discovery Communications Inc. new-media executive. Ford left Discovery in 2003 and became executive vice president of the programming and production section of National Geographic Channel. Now he is coming back to his former channel. Here he will run Military Channel and Discovery Times Channel. He will oversee creative and business strategy, programming and operations of these two channels.
