ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the move of the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO) to develop the Certified Protection Officer Instructor (CPOI) process in response to requests by employers to deliver the Certified Protection Officer (CPO) program in the U.S. CPOIs are veteran instructors who have completed the CPO requirements and possess additional experience in teaching and in the security industry.
