ABSTRACT
The article presents information about Tracy Michana-Stewart, a medical student who got Dr. John Big Canoe Memorial Scholarship award. She is a second-year student at the University of Northern Ontario Medical School in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It is said that the scholarship has been crucial to her success. The scholarship of $2,000 was provided by the Canadian Medical Foundation. The scholarship was helpful not only to Tracy but also to her husband and their three children.
