ABSTRACT
The article presents the results of the 2007 Health & Wellness Study conducted by the journal, which examined the marketing efforts of health food vendors. Around 37.9 percent of retailers surveyed said that they train their in-store employees to sell health-alternative products, compared to 23.6 percent in 2006. Information on merchandise display strategies, signage methods and other in-store promotional strategies to sell organic food and other health-alternative products is presented.
