The article investigates the concerns of the trucking industry on the national transportation policy in the U.S. James Burnley of Venable LLP points out that traffic congestion is one of the biggest transportation issue. By 2050, expectations are for a 250 percent increase in freight and passenger traffic. However miles of highways are only expected to grow by 10 percent.
