Right royal HR savings

The article reports on the savings of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for four years through its self-service human resource (HR). Council director of personnel and general services George Bishop stated that he is near to his goal of reducing administrative costs by £500,000 from an initial bill of £1.8 million. The paper-based system was switched to a computerized self-service HR model.
