O2 hires on performance

The recruitment model is based on the performance profile rather than on competency skills of new hires. A pilot test in the retail division of the company has seen 20 sales advisers recruited using the method. It comprised an evaluation interview that focuses on between four and six accomplishments of a candidate's career.
