ABSTRACT
The article reports on the price increases for acrylic acid and esters or acrylates by Dow Chemical Co. The price increases will take effect on September 1, 2007. According to Mark Bassett, global business director for the acrylic monomers business of the company, their margins are being compressed and some major alcohols and the resulting acrylates have tightened.
