ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of decorative hardware provider Hickory Hardware to restructure its retail sales organization into a network of sales representatives responsible for specific accounts and regions in the U.S. Retail sales vice president Jon Valsvik will manage a team of sales executives who will serve at the largest sales stores. The corporate restructuring would allow the company to offer more customized client service and more direct communication in its retail channels.
