The article reports on the Broadway grosses with total receipts dropped $1.5 million to $16.2 million for 22 shows on the boards in the U.S. Three shows "Frost/Nixon," "Deuce," and "Old Acquaintance" were closed on August 19, 2007. However, only three production stepped up sales such as "Grease," "The Color Purple," and "The Year of Magical Thinking."
