Big Ten Has Holes in Line

The article reports that the U.S.-based Big Ten Network (BTN) has added Insight Communications Inc. to its lineup. This network is co-owned by several member schools and Fox National Cable Sports Networks. Vice president Elizabeth Conlisk stresses that the service is continuing carriage talks with Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, and Dish Network. Some cable operators have been adamant that the BTN should be positioned on a sports tier.
