ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of major bedding retailer Mattress Firm Inc. to acquire the 35-store Mattress Pro chain to gain dominance in the market in the U.S. The acquisition will increase the company's store count nationwide. Gary Fazio, Mattress Firm's chief executive officer, has promised to build a strong foundation of customer service having been able to gain the opportunity of attaining leadership in the industry due to the merger.
