ABSTRACT
This article reports that Clorox Company will begin marketing a line of home dry-cleaning kits in 2000. The company will enter the home dry-cleaning kit market with its Clorox FreshCare brand in March, becoming the third player in a category that has been slow to develop. Retail sources said that the product entry of the company is aimed at the category being contested by Procter & Gamble Company's Dryel and Custom Cleaner, which was acquired in 1999 by a joint venture of Dial Corporation and German household products company Henkel.
