'Flexicurity' is key to Europe

The article reports on the need to adopt the flexicurity approach for people management according to speakers at the European Association for Personnel Management international HR conference in Vienna, Italy. Speakers at the conference touted flexicurity as the only way forward to continue the prosperity of the European Union. Flexicurity refers to the blended approach to job flexibility and security. The advantages associated with flexicurity are mentioned. The problems linked with the approach are cited.
