ABSTRACT
The article includes information on acquisitions, openings and closings of convenience store chains that occurred in 2007. It is stated that in March 2007, Alon USA has agreed to acquire Skinny's Inc., which operates 102 FINA-branded stores in central and west Texas. It reports on acquisition of a convenience store near Iowa City by Casey's General Stores Inc. in May 2007. Moreover, it is informed that Etna Oil Co. Inc. has sold its 11-store chain to Johnson Oil Co. in April 2007.
