This article focuses on the role of three-dimensional (3D) prototyping in the success of an apparel collection. It discusses the advantages of 3D prototyping, and the emergence of 3D processing models in the apparel manufacturing. It also provides information on key 3D prototyping tools, including Browzwear International's V-Stitcher and Gerber Technology's AccuMarkPattern Design Software.
