ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Travel Channel to launch a high definition television (HDTV) simulcast network in early 2008, according to company officials. According to Pat Younge, the company president and general manager, the network has just started to approach distributors about its HDTV simulcast, which will be available in the first quarter. He adds the HDTV simulcast is expected to be called Travel Channel HD.
