ABSTRACT
The article reports the CableLabs accord on IP video. CableLabs approved a technical specification developed by consumer-electronics makers. These will enable set-top boxes and other devices to send over cable programming in encrypted format to Internet Protocol home networks. The agreement is discussed in brief.
