Contractors Automates Material Handling

The article reports that the Contractors Steel Co. has automated its material handling by installing an automated storage and retrieval system from KASTO-Racine Inc. in Belleville, Michigan. The 50-foot-tall system has 2,500 cassettes, which supplies a new cassette every 100 seconds to one of two order-filling stations.
