ABSTRACT
The article reports on the launch of the International Fire Service Research Center and Policy Institute in the U.S. by the International Association of Fire Chiefs. The research institute aims at building the capacity and adaptability of fire-rescue organizations. The institute will collaborate with other research institutions to facilitate, coordinate, conduct, and disseminate research projects and findings.
