ABSTRACT
The article presents the case of a 27-year-old patient with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in the U.S. The man underwent an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation with myeloablative conditioning. After the transplant, he suffered throat pain, mucositis and regurgitation of esophageal mucosa. On the 11th day after the transplant, the donor hematopoietic stem cells were fully engrafted, likewise, the patient's clinical course improved with no signs of complications.
