ABSTRACT
The article reports that Quaker Fabric Corp. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. In the filing of bankruptcy protection, Quaker noted that it has assets at book value of $155.2 million and debt of $60.4 million. It also said that it has reached an agreement for up to $1.65 million in new debtor-in-possession financing, pending court approval. A list of largest unsecured creditors is also provided.
