ABSTRACT
The article discusses the different strategies offered by financing institutions to help furniture retailers deal with a challenging business environment in the U.S. GE Money-Sales Finance is offering special pricing programs to help retailers compete, including plans with longer terms and deferred interest or equal payment plans. According to Citi Financial Retail Services client manager Joseph Zuber, consumers are showing more interest in longer-term financing with low annual percentage rates.
