ABSTRACT
The article reports on the payout of more than seven hundred fifty million dollars by the Adelphia Communications Corp. to its creditors. Adelphia is compelled to pay its debt after receiving bankruptcy protection from creditors in 2002. The payment will come from the purchase of Adelphia by the Time Warner Inc. Each creditor will receive a payment, based on the amount of shares owed from them by Adelphia.
