Judge Calls a Halt to Some DirecTV Ads

The article reports on the decision of a federal judge compelling DirectTV Co. to stop airing an alleged false television advertisements in the United States. DirectTV was barred from running advertisements, showing the result of a survey claiming that DirectTV's digital signal has much better picture quality than analog signal. DirectTV is a cable operator, cited to have benefited from a misleading survey conducted by Alliance Consulting Group.
