ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the plans of towns Davidson and Mooresville in North Carolina to buy the local cable system, Adelphia. This system is serving two communities in the two towns as well as subscribers in Cornelius and areas in the Mecklenburg County. The original plan was to form a consortium that will include other localities but it changed when Huntersville voted to opt out and Cornelius assigned its operating authority to Davidson and Mooresville.
