ABSTRACT
The article presents Miss America 2007 Lauren Nelson's rules for protecting one's reputation from digital abuse. Nelson, who has been trying to educate young women about threats to their safety on the internet, has testified before the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee hearing on the protection from sexual predators. She also stars in a series of public service announcements to educate parents and children about online conduct.
