ABSTRACT
The article reports on the completion of a modernization programme of Jobcentre Plus (JCP) in Great Britain in 2007. According to Lesley Strathie, chief executive officer of JCP, the process has been difficult for its employees but they have delivered. She added that the programme has allowed the firm to deal with greater volumes of customer claims and benefits using fewer people via new channels of delivery.
