The article announces the investment of Building B Home Entertainment in a set-top box that will blend live broadcast and cable content, on-demand programming and Internet access in Silicon Valley, California. The company hopes to assemble a wide selection of high definition (HD) channels and content with its $17.5 million in financing. As part of the development of the technology, it has partnered with Claria Corp. to enable its device to construct a profile for each member of the household.
