ABSTRACT
The article reports that brokers tipped Friends Provident to become the combined group's consumer protection brand and an intermediary arm of resolution-owned Scottish Provident in Great Britain. It notes that Friends brand was better recognized by consumers while Scottish Provident was better known to the intermediary market.
