ABSTRACT
The article profiles winemakers Peter Gago, Steve Lienert, Andrew Baldwin, who are associated with the winemaker company Penfolds in Australia. Gago, a chemistry major at Melbourne University, joined Penfolds in 1989, became part of the red winemaking team in 1993, company oenologist in 1994 and the fourth Grange winemaker in July 2002. Lienert has responsibility for the Bin range, Magill, St Henri, RWT and Grange, while Baldwin looks after the commercial labels, Thomas Hyland and Koonunga Hill.
