ABSTRACT
The article offers information on environmental concerns raised by Great Britain regarding the import of wines from New Zealand. The British pressure group has started encouraging customers to buy local wines owing to the risk of carbon emissions during exports. However, opponents argue that exports from France leave a larger carbon footprint than wine shipped by sea. It further discusses variations that could be noticed in vineyards in various parts of the country.
