The article reports that lasers have been employed successfully to combat the ravages of chronological and sun-induced aging of the sun. However, the procedure and recovery period are both painful and the healing process can take weeks and infection can also occur. Reliant Technologies, a medical device company have introduced Fraxel SR, which is an innovative laser system used to rejuvenate or resurfaced sun-damaged skin without causing a visible wound or a prolonged healing period.
