ABSTRACT
The article reports on the worldwide licensing agreement between drug development company BioLinex Ltd. and the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign for the research, development and commercialization of BL-4030 molecule for cancer. The deal marks the first collaboration of BioLinex with the university. The agent that induces apoptosis is developed by university professor Paul J. Hergenrother. Financial terms of the agreement are not disclosed.
