ABSTRACT
The article reports that upholstery maker England, a unit of La-Z-Boy, has shutdown a manufacturing facility in Stockton, California. The facility opened in 1999 and has 54 employees at the time of its closing. Factors contributing to the decision to close the factory include high rent of the plant, and high business costs in the state.
