The article reports on the creation of a high-definition (HD) version of the Hallmark Movie Channel in the U.S. starting in the first quarter of 2007. The creation of the HD simulcast for the Hallmark Movie Channel is attributed to the rising consumer demand for television content that is family-friendly.
