ABSTRACT
The article recounts the author's experience of visiting a local manufacturers' market in the U.S. The author was wandering through the market enquiring about different products when a particular set of light truck tires caught his attention. However, he was taken aback when it came to his notice that the tires were made in China. He says that even more surprising was the nonchalant attitude of the salesman selling those tires.
