ABSTRACT
This article explains that, according to the International Data Corporation, enterprises will significantly increase the amount of money they spend on network admission control, between the years of 2005 and 2010. Network admission control protects a network from potential infection from an unmanaged device, by evaluating how compliant the device is with the enterprise requirements. What motivates this increase most is the fact that the number of unmanaged endpoint devices connecting to networks is increasing.
