This article explains that, according to Wainhouse Research, the business of videoconferencing has grown significantly between 2006 and 2007. This growth is found to be most prevalent in Europe and Africa, followed by North America. Wainhouse Research believes that several factors contribute to this growth, including the pressure to work more efficiently and cost-effectively in the business world. People are afraid to fly to other countries to conduct in-person conferences because of terrorism, and videoconferencing solutions have become easier to use.
