ABSTRACT
The article reports on the absence of diversity in the 2007 Emmy Awards comedy series writing category in the United States. All but one nomination went to former denizens of the "Saturday Night Live" writers' room. Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, appointed for their work on National Broadcasting Co.'s "The Office" are competing with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
