Lionsgate's got Mandate in crosshairs

The article reports that Lionsgate is in final talks to acquire Mandate Pictures in a deal estimated to exceed 40 million dollars. If the deal will push through, Mandate would retain a large degree of autonomy for the company. The chief executive officer of Mandate, Joe Drake would run Lionsgate's film operations.
