ABSTRACT
The article features the Food City grocery located in Phoenix, Arizona. It states that the grocery offers an impressive selection of authentic products from Mexico, which the mainstream competition finds difficult to match. According to Robert Ortiz, vp of sales and merchandising of Food City, the volume that the grocery sells from imported brands is comparable to the volume that national brands do in a conventional supermarket. Ortiz notes that the grocery uses many displays and creative end caps to entice impulse buys.
