ABSTRACT
The article presents tips on how to buy a welding gun. A company may be able to buy a smaller, less expensive gun with a lower duty cycle rating and still achieve the same results. Switching to a smaller gun can lower equipment costs because lower amperage guns cost less. It can also reduce operator fatigue and downtime because less gun means less weight, better maneuverability and increased comfort.
