ABSTRACT
The article discusses viral marketing, which the author did not understand when she first heard about it. The article states that viral marketing is more spontaneous and customized than traditional marketing, and that in the sporting goods industry it allows smaller companies to seem powerful and larger companies to seem more personalized.
