ABSTRACT
The article announces the opening of the Harn Museum of the Mary Ann Harn Cofrin Pavilion of the University of Florida on October 22, 2005 in Gainsville. The museum has been added with 6,500 square feet of exhibition space to a total of 18,000 square feet. Its inaugural exhibition "America Matirx: Contemporary Directions for the Harn Museum Collection" draws the museum's position as a significant contemporary art in the state.
