ABSTRACT
The article focuses on Dan Brown's book "The Da Vinci Code" in the U.S. The book suggested that existing buildings and works of art are codes conveying a specific message. The special illustrated edition of the book features a color photos of the artworks and architecture in its pages. Furthermore, the source of popular fascination is its combination of suspense with the supposed revelation that Christianity suppressed secrets of sacred femininity.
